Hi. We’re Bob and Cynthia. Traveling is one of our favorite things to do. Bob is a software engineer by trade, and Cynthia is a librarian who loves to research. A well-planned itinerary – with some room for spontaneity – helps trips to go more smoothly while remaining fun. These are some of our favorite travel sites:
- Kayak.com: Compare many airlines for flights, and set up alerts. It offers creative searches, such as searching “Everywhere” within certain date ranges. This is the site we usually start with. Though, we often end up booking directly with the airline.
- Booking.com: This is our favorite site to book hotels and other lodging. They are great at following through on their cancellations as promised.
- Rome2Rio: Type in two destinations, and Rome2Rio will show you the different transportation modes you can get there. Plus price estimates. It has been very helpful to us.
- Skyscanner: This is one of our favorite places to look for flights or hotels.
